With over 40 years of history, Gramado Café Colonial is a tradition in Serra Gaúcha

Founded in 1983, Gramado Café Colonial has established itself as one of the main gastronomic references in the Serra Gaúcha. More than a meal, visiting the house to savor the delights of colonial coffee is to experience an authentic experience, filled with hospitality and tradition. Run by Erni Cavichion's family, the restaurant is faithful to the recipes inherited from Italian and German immigrants, who helped shape the culinary identity of Serra Gaúcha

.

A successful trajectory

Gramado Café Colonial opened its doors in June 1983, in front of the Bill Bar, on the bustling Avenida das Horténsias. The house was born from the work and dedication of Erni Cavichion and his family, whose purpose from the beginning was to offer abundance and quality in a welcoming environment, as a true extension of the table of the families that brought

these traditions to the region.

The recognition was immediate. Tourists and residents were enchanted by the experience of tasting authentic cuisine recipes inherited from Italian and German immigrants, served with generosity and hospitality. The success led, in 1999, to the move to a larger space, able to keep up with the growing demand without losing the essence that had made the house special: the close service, the artisanal care in the preparation of food and the appreciation of the

cultural heritage.

The true colonial coffee experience

Today, under the command of Erni and his daughter Bruna Cavichion, Gramado Café Colonial keeps alive the tradition and identity that made it a reference in the Serra Gaúcha.
